Soglasie says settles more COVID-19 cases in Q1 than in 2020

MOSCOW, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- Soglasie has settled more coronavirus-related insurance cases in January–March than in the entire 2020, the company said in a statement on Friday.

"The company settled 177 cases in the first quarter of 2021, excluding insurance of people travelling abroad, 112 were due to temporary disability, 47 due to hospitalization, 18 due to the death of the insured. There were 135 insurance cases in 2020," the company said.

The payments amounted to 11 million rubles in 2020 and 18 million rubles except foreign travel payments in January–March.
